Marti Skold: Monday Storm Totals

    A blanket of fresh new snow is covering the Wasatch Front after a storm blew thru today.  Here are some of the storm totals from this blast of winter.  Alta and Snowbird both reported 8 inches with Big Cottonwood Spruces picking up 7 inches and Brighton reporting in with 7 inches.  The Canyons and Solitude boht picked up 5 inches of new powder. Olympus Cove had 6 inches along with East Millcreek.  So here we start the winter season and more will be on the way this coming weekend.  The ski resorts will be happy along with all of us who love winter sports.
