You can tell who is winning and who is losing in a workplace fantasy football league. The leaders start bragging and taunting more and more. The losers spend all of their time avoiding the winners.
It’s getting to that point after week 8. Actually our best player is about to go 6-2, our worst player is headed toward 2-6. However, in the middle is parity similar to what we have seen for years in the NFL.
About 99 owners have a 4-4 record. Maybe that’s why we don’t have many people crowing about their team just yet. They are still on the fence on just where their team will wind up.
On a personal note, I had a disappointing draft. On each round of the draft, the players I targeted were taken just in front of me. It has proven difficult to bounce back from that. Nevertheless, my 23 transactions to bring my team up to speed could be a league record. I am down, but definitely not out. It is onward and upward from here.
