SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH (ABC 4 News) - The national spotlight shined on the Gomez home in Daybreak on October 2nd. Extreme Makeover Home Edition viewers nationwide watched as little Jonah Gomez saw his new home for the first time.

Saturday, volunteers who helped make it all possible, and those who just wanted to see it in person, took a tour at an open house hosted by Jessica Gomez to raise money for Make A Wish of Utah. For ten dollars a family, or five dollars a person, people could see the home first hand.

Seven year old Jonah Gomez has two rare blood disorders, and his family was chosen by Extreme Makeover Home Edition to receive the new home at Daybreak.

The family is still looking for help to build the Bone Marrow Registry. Jonah needs a transplant to overcome his illness.
