OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A team of Utah skydivers is getting ready to leave this weekend for the USPA National Skydiving Championships.

The official name of the competition is the U.S. Parachute Association Nationals. It’s being held in Chicago Sept. 13th – 17th.

The team is Kyle Buchholz, Devan Roane, Dusty Hanks, Ryan Scothern, and Cameraman John Lee. All are from Utah.

They've been practicing at iFLY in Ogden since January. If they perform like they've been practicing they're expected not only to win the competition, but they'll also break the record for points scored in their event by nearly 4 times.
