SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) The Jordan River Parkway is even "greener" after a new sustainability program announced Wednesday.
Recycling bins are all along the trail now, giving people the chance to recycle their water bottles, newspaper and anything else that is recyclable.
These bins are made possible through a partnership between the Salt Lake City Division of Sustainability and the University of Utah Lowell Bennion Community Service Center's Bend-in-the-River project.
Also, Salt Lake City announced the launch of a new sustainability website. On it, residents can learn how to get involved with the City's recycling program and read tips and articles about ways to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
