SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Due to a limited supply of the H1N1vaccine , its availability has varied between health departments.
Below is an updated list of H1N1 vaccine availability according to health department and locations.
In keeping with CDC guidelines, many clinics have reserved the H1N1 vaccine for:
•pregnant women (nasal spray not recommended)
•household contacts and caregivers of infants under six months
•health care and emergency response workers
•people six months to 24 years
•people25 to 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher riskcomplications for influenza (nasal spray not recommended)
Also check with your local doctor to see if they are administering H1N1 vaccines.
Health officials also recommend seeing your physician or care provider to see if you qualify for one of the above risk factors.
Bear River Health Department: BRHD does not have a surplus of vaccines and will NOT be opening clinics to the general public.

Thefirst round of vaccines has been provided to elementaryschool children. In the coming week the department will be going backto elementary schools to provide second doses. Additionally thedepartment is working to reach preschool age children and those withchronic health conditions.
The Bear River Health Department inpartnership with the Cache, Logan, Box Elder and Rich County SchoolDistricts have begin H1N1 school vaccination clinics. Each school willbe assigned a date and time for their respective clinic. Informationincluding the consent form has been sent to every student’s home in theCache, Logan,and Box Elder school district. Central Utah Public Health Department (Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Wayne counties): Please call on the morning of the scheduled clinic to verify if the clinic will beheld.
Sevier County: December 3rd from 3-6 p.m. at South Sevier High School (430 West 100 South, Monroe)
*Vaccinewill not be given out the day prior to these clinics to prepare for theclinic. All other days of the week any left over vaccine from the priorclinic will be given out at a walk-in clinic at the Richfield office.These walk-in clinics will be during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.*
Piute County- Available at the Junction Office during office hours: Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Please call ahead.

Davis County Health Department: Clinics now open to the general public. Each person must have a ticket to get a vaccination.
Any remaining tickets will be distributed throught at the clinic location starting at 10 a.m.CLINIC DATES AND TIMES:
Thursday, Dec. 3rd, 3-8 p.m.: Davis Conference Center – 800 West Heritage Park Boulevard, Layton.
Dress appropriately for the weather (such as coats, umbrellas, sunblock,etc.)because a majority of your wait will be outside. Also, wear a short-sleeved shirt (under your coat, if applicable) to speed your vaccination process.

San Juan Health Department:Next vaccination clinic will be held on December 15th from 4-6 p.m. inthe Blanding office for priority groups. An additional priority groupof people ages 24-64 with health problems has been added.
Salt Lake Valley Health Department: Appointments are closed for the current weeks.

SLVHD has paired with three pharmacy chains to distribute H1N1 vaccines. Participating pharmacies will be offering H1N1 shots on a limited basis. People are encouraged to call their local pharmacy in advanced for appointments. To find participating locations, visit

Walgreens will start offering H1N1 vaccines at 18 Salt Lake City area pharmacies beginning Thursday. Vaccinations will be offered to the priority groups outlined by the CDC on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Walgreens pharmacists in Utah are able to provide immunizations to those age 13 and older. To find the nearest Walgreens offering H1N1vaccine, consumers should call 1-800-Walgreens or visit

Kane County: Walk-in clinic held on

Beaver County: Walk-in clinic will be held on Wednesday, December 9, from 1:00–6:00p.m. at 75 W. 1175 North, Beaver. Call 435-438-2482 for more information.

Tooele County Health Department: H1N1 vaccine available at the health department for Tooele County Residents WHILE SUPPLIES LAST to the listed priority group.
Currently scheduling appointments for a clinic on Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 9th, from 4 p.m.-7p.m. at the Grantsville High School for the public. To schedule an appointment, call 435-277-2300.
There is no charge for H1N1 vaccinations, however, the health department is asking to bring your insurance card if you have one.
Tri-County Health Department: (Daggett, Duchesne, Uintah counties): Vaccine available through appointment only.
If you reside in Vernal, call 435-247-1177 for an appointment.
If you reside in Roosevelt,call 435-722-6302 for an appointment.
Utah County Health Department: Clinics will be held Thursday, December 3rd; and Saturday, December 5th.
The next ticket registration day will most likely be on December 7th. Individuals will be able to log on the health department's website toschedule an appointment to get the vaccine.
Wasatch County Health District: No clinics currently scheduled. Stay tuned for any further updates.
Weber-Morgan Health Department: Clinic opened to anyone who would like the vaccine at Weber County Fairground, on Tuesday, December 8 and Wednesday, December 9nd at the Exhibit Hall 1000 North 1200 West. An additional risk group of people over 64 has been added.
One ticket will be needed for each person who wants to be vaccinated. Adults may pick up a limit of eight tickets.
