POSITION TITLE:
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - MORNING PROGRAMMING
SALARY RANGE:
Commensurate with ability and experience.
DESCRIPTION:
ABC4 has an opening for an experienced newsroom leader. The Executive Producer of Morning Programming is responsible for overseeing development and production of on-air morning newscasts, mid-morning local lifestyle programming including Good Things Utah and other digital content from conception to execution. Daily tasks include contributing ideas and coverage concepts at news meetings, story selection and guiding editorial focus of morning newscasts and digital platforms. Also includes supervision of content and production for Good Things Utah. The Executive Producer must be able to manage multiple tasks and activities at one time, have strong news writing skills and be knowledgeable of current events and local trends.
