Design/Graphic Artist Internship

ABC 4 offers a hands-on work opportunity that immerses college students into the ABC 4 (KTVX) / CW30 (KUCW) creative services department.
Interns would be responsible for helping producers, artists and commercial services as needed on a day-to-day basis. This could include writing, editing, searching for video, helping on a commercial or promo shoot, social media work or creating content for the internet.
Interns should possess beginning to intermediate skills in video editing, writing, using social media, shooting video and audio, and should possess some understanding of what goes on at a television station. Applicants should also have a basic understanding of local and national news as well as current events and what’s happening around the community. Those interns interested in the Art Department should have a basic understanding of the Adobe Suite and Mac computers.
Interns may be required to work a variety of shifts and can work up to 20 hours a week.
Interns should present themselves in a professional manner, be able to work fast and meet deadlines, and possess interpersonal skills required to work well within a team.
After being accepted and trained, interns can then work with the internship coordinator to customize their schedule and emphasis over the course of the internship.
