Toys for Tots officially kicks off this week, look for the official toy donation boxes at all Utah Fresh Market stores.
The goal this year is to collect 90,000 toys for over 18,000 children in need.
Donate early and often....think about purchasing an extra toy for a child in need if you are out shopping black Friday.
Small Business Saturday is this weekend. This event is sponsored by American Express, between black Friday and Cyber Monday, and is all about supporting small businesses in your area. Last year over one hundred million people came together to Shop Small in their communities on Small Business Saturday.
Each Fresh Market store proudly supports Toys for Tots and Fresh Market guests will see the official collection boxes at the front of each store.
There are toys available at all Fresh Market stores, or feel free to bring a new, unwrapped toy and drop off at your neighborhood Fresh Market.
The Marines say our community is extremely gracious and supportive of this program. They are encouraging everyone to donate a new, unwrapped toy sooner than later this year. The Marines will sort and distribute toys to needy children the week of December 17th, which means toys need to be donated and in the hands of the Marines no later than December 14th in order to provide a new toy for a child in need this year.
