It's good to see when a error is made right. I applaud this person's courage to make a public apology. However, being new to Utah, this is not the first nor will it be the last occurrence of someone's 'innocence' of making derogatory comments about a particular groups religious, ethnic or ideological views. Utah has a problem in that there are those that live in a bubble and should be more aware of comments that hurt, marginalize and abuse others. The one I hear often in Utah is 'shuck and jive' for the love that is all good, please stop using that comment. It is offensive and most people know this. So is illegal alien. Look outside the Utah box and get informed.

Gretchen, You are a genuinely good person to feel such remorse over an innocent comment. Your apology was heartfelt. Just know you are not alone in "family sayings" that can be embarrassing once looked at from a different perspective. I enjoy watching GTU and will continue to do so. Kellie K.
