Rick Baldassin says the most important thing you can do to care for your piano is to keep it dusted.  He says never use a dry cloth on your piano.

If you have a shiny finish, use a micro-fiber cloth that is moistened with Windex.

For the keys, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water.

You can vacuum any place you can see.  Rick recommends using the brush attachment.

Of course, for tuning and regular cleanings, Baldassin Pianos are the pros to take care of your needs.

Rick Baldassin achieved prominence early in his career as Chief Concert Piano Technician for the Utah Symphony Orchestra, Piano Technician for the University of Utah, and Tuning Editor for the Piano Technicians Journal.

Rick is considered one of the foremost authorities on piano action geometry, and hammer construction and voicing.
