Meatball Sub Sandwiches

Recipe: Meatball Sub Sandwiches (serves 4)
4 Hoagie Rolls
12 oz. (3/4 Cup) Marinara
10 oz. Meatballs (sliced, or whole if preferred)
6 oz. Mozzarella (shredded)
4 tbsp. (1/4 Cup) Parmesan
*Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lay hoagie rolls open in a large oven safe baking dish. Spread marinara across sandwiches in equal amounts. Lay meatballs on top of marinara in equal amounts. Top with mozzarella and then Parmesan. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and browning.

MEAT BALLS



1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese or romano cheese

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl by hand.
Use your bare hands for best results.
Roll meatballs to about the size of a golf ball.
Place in an oven safe dish (greased with olive oil)
Bake at 350
Flip meatballs after half an hour.
They should be golden brown and cooked through 50 minutes total.
