RECIPE:
Apple Cake with Warm Vanilla Sauce
Ingredients:
Cake: 3½ cups Shirley J Muffin & Cake Mix
3½ cups Grated Fresh Apples
¾ cup Water
2 tsp. Cinnamon
½ tsp. Nutmeg
3 Eggs, Beaten
Warm Vanilla Sauce
¾ cup Shirley J Whisk Bliss Dessert Creme
3 cups Water
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
Directions:
Cake:
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all dry ingredients together, blending well. Add grated apples, water, and beaten eggs, and mix for 2 minutes. Pour batter into greased 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Top each individual piece of cake with warm vanilla sauce.
Warm vanilla sauce:
Combine dessert crème, water, and vanilla. Blend on medium speed for one minute. Heat sauce in microwave or on stovetop until warmed throughout. Top individual cake pieces with sauce.
