Recipe: Santa's Red and Green Bread Spread

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. thinly sliced provolone cheese
  • ½ cup pesto
  • Sun dried tomatoes in oil, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ stick butter, room temperature
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
Line 9x5-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap; leave some hanging over the edges. Place provolone slices on bottom and up the sides, forming to shape of pan.

Cream together cream cheese, garlic, butter, salt and pepper. Layer cream cheese mixture, pesto, tomatoes, and provolone; repeat layers until pan is full, ending with provolone on top. Pull plastic wrap over ends and sides. Pull loaf from pan, and refrigerate overnight.

Serve with French Bread or butter crackers.
