Table Talk 12/9.

A bullied teen stood up for himself in an online video and has since become a national icon.  Jonah Mowry, 14, posted a video on YouTube that was raw and personal.  He said he was scared to go back to school because he had been bullied for years because he is gay.  Last week Perez Hilton tweeted about it, and then it became a viral video sensation.  Jonah got tweets of support from Nick Jonas, Rosie O'Donnell, Jane Lynch and Lady Gaga whose song "Born This Way" has become a rallying cry for the anti-bullying movement.

Also, it's a stereotype as old as dating itself: women seeking guys for material gain, and guys seeking women for their beauty.  But when Jessica Sporty, 25, said she had a brief yet calculated plan to date men of means while living in New York, her confession sparked outrage online.  Some called her a "gold digger" others said she was "obscene".  Sporty said she joined Match.com and soon became a serial dater.  She says the free dinners she got from the dates saved her $1,200.

And, is the ugly sweater the next fashion trend?  For the Manheim Steamroller crowd, the Christmas sweater has long been a fashion must.  But now David Beckham has been seen wearing reindeer cardigans.  It must be cool if Victoria lets him wear that in public!  At thrift stores ugly sweaters are in short supply.

Plus.. a special guest joined Table Talk.  Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actress Melissa Manchester is in town for Kurt Bestor's Christmas concert.
