Topic #1: The family rescued from a river in Logan met their heroes for the first time on Good Morning America Tuesday. The dad lost control of his car on a winding canyon road and slid into an icy river, trapping his 9-year old daughter and 4-year old son in the car, along with their 9-year old friend. The car was upside down and submerged, but it didn't take long for a group of men to jump into the water to save them. The rescuers pulled the children from the car and passed them up the river banks to others where some performed CPR. The children are all doing well by now.
Topic #2: Will the second time be the charm? Bachelor Ben Flajnik got down on one knee to propose to the then-Bachelorette Ashley Herbert on national television, only to have his heart broken. That was then, this is now. Ben is The Bachelor this time around on the show that began Monday night on ABC. Ben says he's ready to open his heart up to love again. You can watch the show every Monday evening at 7 p.m. on ABC 4.
Topic #3: A Royal mystery. British police have launched a murder investigation after a woman's body was discovered on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham country estate in England. The remains were found Sunday by a dog walker. The Queen spent the holidays at the estate, and had been informed about the discovery. So far the woman has not been identified.
