Witch's Hat Door Decor

Supplies

• 2 – Glitz Design Plum Crazy Floral paper
• 1 – Glitz Design Plum Crazy Stripe paper
• 1 – Glitz Design Plum Crazy Circles paper
• 1 – Hallow Stripe/Orange Damask paper
• 1 – Glitz Design Plum Crazy Glitzers
• 1 – Glitz Design Plum Crazy Journaling spots
• 1 – Frosting Swirly Arrows (green)
• 1 – Frosting 12” Circle Strip (dark green)
• Distressing Stamps 2 & Circle Stamp Set

• Also used:  Wooden Witches Hat (from craft store or unfinished wood store like Wood Connection), orange netting, black acrylic paint, black stamp pad, mod podge, wire, glue

Instructions

1. **Lay paper face down and wood face down when tracing**
2. Trace and cut the top part on Plum Crazy Floral paper.  The top part of my hat was more that 12”, so I needed two pieces.
3. Trace and cut the brim of the hat on Plum Crazy Stripe paper (purple side showing)
4. Trace and cut out hat detailing from Circle paper.
5. Trace and cut out star from Damask paper.
6. Using mod podge, adhere paper to hat.  My hat had rounded corners and I bent the paper along the curves while adding mod pod.
7. Randomly stamp floral distressing stamp on hat brim and add journaling spots.
8. Mod podge the top of each piece.
9. When dry, ink edges and glue hat together.
10. Stamp circle distressing stamp and cut out.
11. But scallop circle and flower (pattern below – large flower 5” across).
12. Layer circles and flower as shown.
13. Add bling and orange netting.
