The Utah Museum of Fine Arts at the University of Utah was thrilled to be part of the Ultimate Utah Wedding! They hosted Ryan and his friends for a Bachelor Tour of Speed: The Art of the Performance Automobile on Monday, August 6.
Speed is an exhibition showcasing 19 of the world's finest and fastest automobiles from the past century, including the famous 1938 "Mormon Meteor III" and Steve McQueen's 1957 Jaguar. The legendary cars were leaders in aerodynamics and design in their time, and they convey the rich history of racing in Utah and beyond. When most visitors come to see Speed, they often experience the cars with a small crowd. For the Ultimate Utah Wedding Bachelor Tour, Ryan and his buddies were given exclusive access to the Museum, and had the awesome racers in the Speed exhibition all to themselves for the evening.
The bachelor party received fun Speed-themed favors as keepsakes. The Utah Museum of Fine Arts has a wonderful store filled with art-inspired items, and right now we also have a special Speed store with gifts inspired by racing history. The bachelors each received gifts from the Speed store as party favors, and Ryan got a copy of our full-color Speed catalog, and Ryan, Tara and their family got a year membership to the museum.
