Printing
We recommend printing your pages on regular paper and not on cardstock of photo paper. If printing on an ink jet printer, you need to be very careful not to rub the photos too much or the color will bleed when it is moistened from the Mod Podge. If you have access to a color copier or color laser printer, we would recommend using that over an ink jet printer.
*Wooden Blocks
The wooden blocks are made from a standard 2x4 from any home improvement store. They are inexpensive and make many block sets, so you can do several sets and share them with your favorite people! Note: 2x4's are actually 1.5" x 3.5" finished size. Cut your wood to 3.5" squares and 3.5" x 5.5" rectangle blocks. If you don't have access to a saw, the home improvement stores will cut them for you for a small fee.
Assembling Blocks
Prepare the blocks by sanding and painting the edges, backs and bottoms with coordinating paint. Cut strips of the patterned paper and your photos to fit the blocks. Mod Podge them to the blocks. Coat the entire block with Mod Podge for a shiny appearance if desired.
