The Big U is about the U.S.S. Utah at Pearl Harbor.

The book is written by Utahn Allen Craine.

The U.S.S. Utah, was nicknamed The Big U by her crew.

The ship has a few interesting parallels with the LDS Church, for example, she was christened on the 100th birthday of church founder Joseph Smith.

There are 54 sailors still aboard her, one a Medal of Honor winner, and the cremains a baby girl, Nancy Lynn Wagner, lovingly called "Baby Nancy".

You can buy The Big U at online stores.
