Even if you're not creative or a crafter, Amber Packer created Thankful Banners that anyone can create in time for Thanksgiving.
They are beautiful, fun and quick so that you can have them done before you have to start cooking!
Supplies (makes 2 - 4' banners):
1 - Oliver "Yellow Honey" Embossed paper
1 - Oliver "Blue Quatrefoil" Embossed paper
1 - Oliver "White Floral" paper
1 - Oliver "Ledger Stripe" paper
1 - Oliver "Lace Fan" paper
1 - Oliver "Yellow Floral paper
1 - Oliver "Blue Lace" paper
2 - 12 x 12 Sticker Accessories Sheet
1 - Oliver Enamel Dots
1 - Oliver Decorative Brads
Also used: 2 1/2" and 3" circle punch, brown ink pad, brown & tan thread and sewing machine, liquid adhesive, 3" doilies, 6' 3/8" brown organza ribbon and 6' 3/8" cream organza ribbon.
Instructions:
- Print page 1 on Yellow Honey Embossed paper and Yellow Floral paper.
- Print page 2 on Blue Quatrefoil Embossed paper and White Floral paper.
- Punch printed circles using 2 1/2" circle punch.
- Punch 50 - 3" circles from ledger stripe, lace fan, blue lace, yellow floral and white floral papers.
- Adhere letter circles to centers of 3" circles.
- Lay out circles to spell "In Everything" and "Give Thanks" twice. Add a blank circle to separate words.
- Measure the distance needed for the banner. Add 2'. My pendant lights are 4' apart, so my ribbon is 6' long. Mark the center and 2' from center on the left and right side.
- Adhere "In Everything" to one ribbon, flip over and add second "In Everything" to back.
- Repeat step 8 to create "Give Thanks" banner.
- Add embellishments, hang and ENJOY!
