The Salt Lake Home Builders Parade of Homes is going on now. This is the 66th year, making it the longest-running parade of homes in the country.
There are 23 parade homes and 12 builder model homes, making 35 total homes ready to see. And, there really is something for everyone. This year's parade featured 25 different builders.
Here are some highlights:
Home #4 Canyon School District CTEC program built the home. Everything about the home involved students.
Home #7: Professional Builder Group has restored a Utah Historic Home built in 1885, located on Spring Lane in Holladay
Home # 12: The Blogger Home built by Bangerter Homes. This home was designed by five of the top bloggers in the state. It features unique DIY ideas that will be easy on your budget.
Home # 1: The Loeffler Residence by Lane Myers. This home is one of the largest homes we have featured in the parade, with just over 20,000 square feet.
There are also Make-A-Wish Rooms where builders worked with a Wish Child to design a room around their wish.
The Parade goes through August 18th. Homes are open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Tickets are $15 at the door and $12 online at:
