Each year, Lauren James Bridal hosts a “Runaway Bride 10K & Dress Dash” race for the Susan G. Komen for the cure – Utah Affiliate. This race is like no other in Utah.
This race provides women with the opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause while running for the wedding of their dreams. When you sign up to participate in the Lauren James Runaway Bride 10 K, you not only are competing for yourself–you are competing for millions of women across the nation who are seeking a cure for breast cancer.
In addition to the warm and fuzzy feeling you will get from knowing that you are helping to change lives, you will be competing for prizes that will help make your wedding day absolutely perfect. This year, tons of amazing prizes will be given away including: a Free wedding dress, Disneyland tickets, wedding venue, wedding photography, spa packages, wedding floral services, wedding cake, and more. Additionally, every competitor in the race will be eligible to win raffle prizes! Even if you’re not a runner, you have the opportunity to put together a team for more chances to win.
You can include your mother-in-law, friends, roommates, sister, and even bridesmaids! The bigger your team, the more chances you have of winning a prize.
Registration for this amazing event has already begun, and continues until October 25th at midnight. The actual race will be held on October 27th at 8am and will start at the Bloomington Park in St. George.
