Real Salt Lake is in the spotlight.
First, Real Salt Lake has re-signed MF Javier Morales. Morales will report to Rio Tinto Stadium for the start of Real Salt Lake's preseason camp on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Second, Real Salt Lake MF Kyle Beckerman and DF Tony Beltran have been called to the U.S. National Team. It's Beltran's first call up and Beckerman's fifth time.
Third, Real Salt Lake MF Luis Gil has been called to the U.S. U-20 National Team. This is the second-consecutive U-20 camp that Gil has been called to. The 19-year-old Gil was a part of the team that competed at the Marbella Cup tournament in Spain in mid-October.
Fourth, Real Salt Lake President Bill Manning named Major League Soccer Executive of the Year. The prestigious Doug Hamilton Award signifies recognition as the 2012 Major League Soccer Executive of the Year.
