Temma Martin introduces us to Oso a three year old, fully grown, Border Collie Australian Cattle dog mix. He doesn't have a tail, but he knows sit and down on command and loves other dogs, fine with children, very playful.  This type of dog is going to be very intelligent and active. They love to have things to do they are the types of dogs who can handle jobs in real life. They need to have activity, if he gets bored, he many act out and they can get naughty if they don't have anything to do. So be prepared for an active dog. Oso is not hyper. he is fairly mellow but it's just in his wiring that he will like to have an active family. You can adopt Oso at the Salt Lake County Animal Services.  He will love to go on walks and hikes and Temma experienced he is pretty good on a leash, but he can clear a four-foot fence.  Temma saw him jump into the neighbors yard, but jumped right back when she saw him. If you want to adopt Oso, call or go to www.utahpets.org
