Supplies:

  • Tote of your choice
  • Glitter Dots
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Paint
  • Paint brush
  • Ribbon
  • Tacky Tape
  • Iron On
  • Paint Pens
  • Jewels
  • Jewel-It

First thing that you will need to do is decide what you want on your bag. For example your child’s name, “To Grandma’s / Nana’s house we go”, etc.

Using your Iron On you will then iron your saying, kid’s name, etc to your bag. Follow the instructions on the package before you start to iron on your bag.

Tacky Tape is great to adhere Ribbon to your bag. We have a variety of different sizes of Tacky Tape for different sizes of ribbon.

Using your hot glue gun you will adhere your Glitter Dots to your bag. There are different sizes of Glitter Dots that I have used on the bag.

Paint your child’s hand a color of your choice using Acrylic paint of any kind. You might want to put an apron on your child before you begin just to be safe. Acrylic paint will not come out of clothes. Set aside to dry.

Paint Pens are great to outline your child’s hand print, depending on what it looks like. Using different colors, and sizes of ribbon you will tie the ribbon around the handles of the bag.
