Michael Johnson, M.D. came on Good Things Utah to talk about over-medicating children.
It is something that a GTU viewer requested. She says many of her friends give their children medicine to calm them down or help them sleep, even if they're not sick.
Dr. Johnson says giving medicine for any reason other than illness is not a good idea. Medicine, including cold medicine should be used as directed by a doctor.
