2013 Concerto Competition
Music education and awareness is a critical aspect in preparing the upcoming generation for life, work, and responsibility. Creativity is an essential element of critical thinking, and the arts are just one way proven to develop such skills.
The Oquirrh Mountain Symphony is dedicated to providing our communities and society with a pathway that will prepare our future generations with these opportunities.
Each year, finalists are invited to perform with Oquirrh Mountain Symphony in the Spotlight Spectacular, the final concert of the Symphony's season, and the capstone of achievement for the finalists.
The incredible body of musicians in OMS and among the competition finalists meld together to produce some of the most breathtaking music you will hear.
Important Dates
Registration Closes: January 25th, 2013 ($50 entry fee)
Late Registration Closes: February 8, 2013 ($10 late fee)
Date of Competition: February 9th, 2013
