In August of 2009, Ardene Bullard, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and teammate, passed away suddenly.
Ardene was an advocate for JDRF, has her granddaughter, Mykah was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and she understood the impact of this disease and wanted to find a cure.
Led by Ardene's legacy, her friends and teammates founded the Ardene Bullard Of Love Tennis Tournament and fundraiser in 2010.
The third annual Ardene Bullard, OF LOVE Tennis Tournament, a United States Tennis Association sanctioned tournament and fundraiser will be held on August 16th thru the 23rd. It will include Men's and Women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles. This event will be at Eagleridge Tennis Club at 711 Parkway Drive in North Salt Lake.
August 18th an exhibition match will feature Michael Chang vs. Wayne Ferreira and will also be held at Eagleridge Tennis Club. Preliminary and doubles plan will also feature Luke and Murphy Jensen.
