Nicea's Nodes

Nicea has been having trouble with her voice sounding hoarse and wanted to find out what was causing it.

She visited Marshall Smith, M.D. at the University of Utah Voice Disorders Clinic and Surgical Center.  She took a photographer along to her appointment to document her journey.

Dr. Smith found nodes on Nicea's vocal chords.  It's the same thing that was the basis for a very funny scene in the movie "Pitch Perfect".

Nicea is now exploring her options for treating the condition.
