Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC) is thrilled to partner with actress Alyson Reed, the loveable, loopy drama teacher Ms.
Darbus in Disney's High School musical series, to expand arts education in the very place High School Musical filmed the series: Salt Lake City.
As a new addition to their educational outreach programming, SLAC is bringing Alyson to five elementary schools, through a weeklong succession of free assemblies, serving over 3,000 students.
Alyson will engage and empower students through the arts with five free educational and entertaining assemblies at various local schools.
Students and their relatives are invited to enjoy Family Night with Alyson at Clayton Middle School on January 31st. Tickets are $5 per person and you are encouraged to contribute to the Salt Lake Education Foundation.
Alyson will also be hosting an actor's workshop on Saturday, February 2nd at 11:00 at the Salt Lake Acting Company, 168 West 500 North in Salt Lake City.
