Local actor Kirby Heybourne stopped by GTU Monday to talk about his busy year.
He became popular after starring in the film The R.M. in 2003. He has done many other moves about Mormon culture as well. His first appearance in a non-LDS film was as Teddy in The Three Stooges in 2012.
You have probably also seen him in commercials on television, including for Target and Honda.
Kirby also narrates audio books and has been awarded "One of the Best Voices of 2012" from Audiofile Magazine. Kirby also received the Odyssey Award for Young Adult Audiobooks (that's kind of like winning the Oscar). And, New York Daily News named one of his readings "Gone Girl", the best audio book of the year.
