Joy Bossi came to give us some great gardening trips and to let us know that it's not too late to plant!
Joy tells us that we can still plant sunflowers and shows us how to do it. You want them about an inch deep in the soil so when it gets moist down there, the soil doesn't dry out so fast. The pioneers didn't come into the valley until late July and didn't finish planting until early August, so the planting season is not over yet.
Be sure to listen to Joy in the Garden on the radio saturday mornings from 9-11 on 570 AM and 105.7 FM KNRS.
