Our stylist Jen Clyde shows us how to warm up your t-shirt for fall.

The time has finally come....the bit of a crisp in the air. I love it! I love feeling the change in seasons. Something I never grew up knowing or feeling because I am from Cali but I really do love it! People who know me understand I am in love with my T shirts. I dress them up, I dress them down, I just wear them with everything. You should see my collection of T shirts, itʼs insane. So I make them wearable for as long as I can! How??
Here are some tips you can try to warm up your fave Tee.
1. Over a collard button up: Just adds enough warmth but still a unique look. This I love because it is so preppy but yet stylish. A bit of J Crew thrown in there with a bit of alternative apparel. It just works. I love to tie it up so you can see the bottom of the shirt. Sloppy but yet so over the top that it makes the whole outfit work. Remember fit is the key here. You donʼt want something big and baggy so you lose your waist
but at the same time has to be loose enough so you donʼt see a bunch of wrinkles and bulges everywhere adding on extra pounds.
2. Mismatched long sleeve rolled up under neath: Ok this look with the layered look has been around for a long time. So ...fun thing you can do is use different patterns and colors to add depth and uniqueness.
3. T shirt instead of a blouse: Dressing up your t shirt with a cardigan is popular but try to mix the colors and the textures. I love to have a warm big cardigan on with my t shirt of scarf. Just adds warmth and extra style.
So this fall be ready with your fave Tee and try to wear it just not alone but all warmed up with some fun elements to mix it up a bit.
