Holly is an eleven-year-old dog who alerts her handler, Shauna Wilkinson, to seizures five minuets ahead of time. That way Shauna can get to a safe place.
Holly was Shauna's agility dog and even before she was trained would let her know when a seizure was coming.
Holly has gone through two years training in Utah with "At Your Service Dogs" and Shauna says she has saved her life over and over.
Now the pair travels to elementary schools to teach children about service dogs and together they raise money for several different charities.
Holly is one of the dogs being honored at the 2012 American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards. They take place October 6th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be shown on the Hallmark Channel.
