Nick Como with the Downtown Alliance talked about the Harvest Market on Good Things Utah Friday.
The Harvest Market begins Tuesday, August 7th at Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City. It runs from 4:00 p.m. through dusk.
The Harvest Market is produce centric, there are no arts and crafts and very little prepared food.
This is the harvest time of the year so farmers have a lot of produce to sell and you can get a lot for a fairly low cost.
The Harvest Market is at a time of day when you can swing by right from work and take fresh food home for supper.
It is not as crowded as the Farmer's Market on Saturdays.
And, it gives farmers a second opportunity to sell their produce.
