“Attendees and volunteers often remark that the Chili Affair is more of a family-friendly festival than a stuffy fundraising event,” says Daela Taeoalii-Higgs, Chairperson of the Chili Affair. “I’ve found that it’s a great way for civic-minded people of all ages to enjoy and be inspired by each other’s commitment to The Road Home and its relevance within our community. How can you not feel good about supporting a nationally recognized agency that provides hope, healing, and housing to those most in need.”
There will be chilies, salads, breads, and desserts from everyone’s favorite local restaurants. All attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite chili. Great music provided by Calvary Baptist Church Choir, Samba Fogo, Salt Lake Capoiera – Volta Miuda, Odyssey Dance Theatre, and many more.
The silent auction is always a crowd pleaser with exciting items ranging from …
