The Girl Scout Cookie Program is an American tradition and the nation's leading entrepreneurship program for girls and young women today. Selling cookies teaches goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics - aspects essential to leadership, to success, and to life.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is building future CEO's! (Financial Literacy a big skill)
This year there are 8 different cookie types for sale: Thin Mints, Samosa, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Tagalongs, Thank You Berry Munches, Savannah Smiles, and Dolci de Leches. Each box is $3.50 - with $2.32 of that going back to the girl and Girl Scouting in Utah.
If you don't like cookies, you can still support Girl Scouts by buying boxes to donate as part of our Gift of Caring Program - this year, they are partnering with food banks in Utah. Anyone can visit our website (
gsutah.org) and request to place an order through our Cookie Compass. The request is then sent to Girl Scout troops who are assigned to the area and they will follow up and take your Girl Scout cookie order.
Cookies sales go from January 12 - 27, 2013. For more information visit their website at
