Thanksgiving Point’s “Halloween Central” is kicking off this week,  t's festive, that's all we have to say. Britnee from Thanksgiving Point joined us today and brought along Frankenstein to help talk about all the amazing things happening this weekend.

Britnee tells us, "Frankenstein is new this year, he is our special friend. You can check him out at the end of the month, October 27-29." Guests can come dressed in Halloween costumes to have an exciting dinner with Frankenstein and some of his friends. Set in a Halloween laboratory, families will feast on “frank” hot dogs and haunted treats, see live creepy crawlies from the Bean Museum, try electrifying experiments, and make creepy crafts to take home. Families are encouraged to come in a themed family costume to enter in the best-themed family costume contest for prizes.

Nicea was worried Frankenstein would be waiting in the Cornmaze to jump out at you, but don't worry, Frankenstein says, "I spent the last 48 hours fighting my way out of there. the corn is inedible."

There are plenty of things for younger childern, the the corn belly corn maze is good for all ages. The maze has a political theme this year with bPresident Obama and Mitt Romney and you can cast cast your straw vote.  At night if you want the spooky feel, the corn maze becomes haunted and runs through November 3rd.  You most likely won't find Frankenstein there, "I tend to steer away from the overly spooky."
