Indie rock band Kingsfoil's newest member is former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz, a self-taught drummer who joined the group earlier this year.
Muniz was a longtime fan of the band, having learned about them from the manager they shared.
When the opportunity arose to audition, he jumped at the chance. The Central Pennsylvania-based band was founded by longtime friends Jordan Davis (vocals, guitar) and Tristan Martin (guitar, keyboards).
The band released their debut album in 2010 and have shared stages with artists such as Passion Pit, Anberlin and The Ting Tings, among others.
The group (rounded out by bassist Tim Warren) just finished a 30-city tour and are about to announce a series of new tour dates.
Kingfoil is performing October 9th at Mojo's on 2210 Washington Boulevard in Ogden. For ticket information, visit: http://www.facebook.com/mojos.ogden/events
