The world's most famous office building -- the Empire State Building -- is dimming its lights just a little.
It is teaming up with another world-famous icon, Lutron Electronics, which created the lighting dimmer to turn down the lights and save energy by up to 65%.
Lighting Design came on Good Things Utah to talk about how you can put the same technology in your home and save energy by up to 50%.
The dimmers will also create mood and ambiance in your home and they are available in 27 colors to match your home's decor.
