Just in time for Halloween decoration, Melinda from Scrapbook Central shows us how to create a 3-D Paper Pumpkin out of Halloween and fall colored papers. In 6 simple steps:
- Fold all circle in half so the orange patterns are on the inside
- Glue 4 of the large folded circles together and trim off about 1/2" off one end so that it has a flat bottom. Glue the last 4 large circles to the other four and trim off the bottom to match the first half of the circles. Glue the two open edges together so that you have one whole pumpkin. ***Repeat with both sets of the small pumpkins (8 circles per pumpkin)***
- Using the black strips of cardstock (3), fringe the top (cut a line about every 1/8" to every 1/4" leaving about 3/8" at the bottom uncut). Place a strip of adhesive at the bottom of each piece and roll from one side to the other.
- Roll 2 tiny strips around a pen to curl the paper, hot glue to the top of the large pumpkin, hot glue the 2" black rolled piece of cardstock to the top for your stem
- Hot glue the smaller black stems to the top of each small pumpkin. Cut your orange ribbon in half and tie and the base of each stem.
- Cut your black twine in half, make a couple back and forth loops and tie together, hot glue to the center of the orange ribbon, hot glue 1 black button to the center of the black twine
