Buckets Blakes is with the Harlem Globetrotters, and they will be entertaining in Utah on Monday evening.
He was born and raised in Phoenix and grew up watching the Phoenix Suns. To make his own hoop, he would cut a hole in the top of his dad's hat, flip it over and shoot a tennis ball through it.
Buckets was not only an outstanding basketball player growing up, but he also lettered in track and football in high school. And, he earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in 2012 by taking online courses, despite traveling the world to entertain people with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Buckets also had a big surprise for several children in the GTU audience. Five children from each grade at the Guadalupe Center (kindergarten, first, second and third grades) who have shown exceptional growth in either reading or math were rewarded with two tickets each to see the Globetrotters play!
