Janet Halling says she wrote "An Unexpected Angel" to bring peace and comfort to someone who might need it.  The tagline is 'Sometimes finding peace means finding a different perspective".  She says the book is spiritual, but not religion-specific.

It is a quick, easy read, perfect for the busy holiday season.

Here is the storyline of the book from Janet's website: "It was Christmas Eve, and the Empire State Building was lit with red and green. The streets were jammed with traffic, and the fog was rolling in off the Hudson, turning the streetlights into misty orbs.

Ella sighed and turned away from the window and the twinkling lights below, determined not to give in to the painful memories that had been lurking in the back of her mind all day.

Ella Davies hates Christmas. Every year she spends the holidays working, trying to bury the pain of a childhood tragedy. But this season, Ella’s about to learn something only an angel could teach her.

With the help of an unlikely friend, Ella gains new hope and discovers the truth about her past, learning the power of forgiveness along the way.

This modern twist on a Christmas classic will remind you that the best gifts of all are the loved ones you learn to treasure!"

Janet's three-week blog tour starts Tuesday and for more information on that, as well as book signings, please visit: http://www.janetkhalling.com/.
