RallyMe is a crowdfunding site dedicated to helping athletes, teams, and organizations raise money to achieve their athletic dreams. RallyMe launched in the late fall and already has helped raise over $70,000 for athletes.
It was started by Bill Kerig who used it to raise money for a sports film he directed called Ready to Fly. It worked, so Kerig thought why not athletes? He knew they needed to raise funds as badly as artists, singers, filmmakers, or inventors. And RallyMe.com was born.
Aaron Lesue is now on the RallyMe site because he's dreaming of being in the Olympics.
Aaron is a former Utah State University football player and veteran Arena Football League wide receiver for the Utah Blaze.
When he was just two years old, his father was in Korea on active military duty when he was killed in a parachuting accident. Aaron has always looked up to his father. He wanted to be like him, make him proud, and honor his life and what he stood for.
So early on, Aaron set three goals for his life: become a professional football player; break a Guinness world record, and represent his family and country in the Olympic Games. He's accomplished two of the three goals and now he's working to compete in the Olympics!
