Wesley Ruff - They're signing babies now!!!

Did you see that Real Madrid signed a 7-year old kid from Argentina? What is this world coming to? He's a baby!!!

Leonel Angel Coira (a.k.a. Leo) will begin training with the soccer powerhouse on September 6th. Isn't that the day that 1st grade starts? Will he be able to make it through a full practice without stopping for a nap? Does he get a cartoon break? Did his signing bonus include toys and a year's supply of juice boxes? Will his mom be required to bring orange slices to the matches?

If it works out, maybe other teams will start signing kids even younger. Maybe Manchester United can ink a 3 year old from Brazil. Or FC Barcelona could be there in the delivery room with a contract and a pen to sign the next budding superstar as he takes his first breath. The doctor could slap him, then the team could sign him. 

I think my next job will be as a baby agent. It seems like the next frontier...
