I'll be traveling with the University of Utah football team this weekend to New Mexico. It's Utah's first road game of the year, and it shouldn't be much of a game at all. The Lobos have given up 124 points in their first 2 games, and the Utes are 2-0 and ranked 14th in the country. Should be a big blowout.
We get to fly on the team charter, which is kind of cool. But the other day I got a text from the Utah travel people wanting to know how much I weigh. Really?!? I'm going to be on a plane with offensive and defensive linemen who weigh over 300 pounds, and they want to know what I'm packing on my little frame? If I weigh too much, do I not get to go? Maybe they're trying to balance out the plane with the weight distributed evenly on both sides of the aisle, and they need to know where to stick me. It just struck me as odd, though. I gave them my weight, but in the past 2 days, I've gone on a couple of bike rides, but had a chocolate donut today. Ha! Keep 'em guessing, that's what I say!
