We started our Fantasy Football season this past week. I seriously don't know why I play. You know how some people are good at it? I'm not.
We had the draft last Friday night. It goes waaaayyyyyyyyy too long. I was picking 9th in our 10-team league. I knew I wouldn't get a great team, and I did not disappoint myself. My team looks like it couldn't lick its way out of a wet paper bag. My team name is "The Doctors", because when teams play me, I make them feel so much better.
The first game was Thursday night, so lineups needed to be set. I was sick all weekend, and then wiped out from the MDA Labor Day Telethon. I was still not feeling well on Tuesday and Wednesday. Long story short, I forgot to set my lineup in time for the first game. I have Saints running back Thomas on my team, and he rushed for 71 yards and scored a TD, which would have given my 14 points. Instead, I got zero, zip, nix, nada, nothing. I'm off to a great start.
Hopefully things will get better. They can't get much worse.
