We've all seen the replays. He was out. The umpire admitted he was wrong. Major League Baseball needs to do the right thing and change the call and give Armando Galarraga a perfect game.
Dana has already disagreed with me, but as usual, he's wrong. Changing the call would not impact the final score of the game or change the outcome in any way, other than to right a wrong and give the kid his perfect game.
I know instant replay is not used in this situation. But when the evidence is so clear, and this is a history-making event, I say change the call. Do the right thing.
