I'm not gonna lie...I'm not a big Miami Heat fan. I don't like it when teams go out and try to "buy" a championship. I'm not really a Mavericks fan either. But this has been a fun series to watch and cover.

All the games have been close and exciting. Miami builds a lead, and the Mavericks come roaring back. Two of the games have been decided with the final shot in the air. That's good stuff. It doesn't always happen like that.

Since the games are on ABC, we have been asked to fill the time from when the game ends until our 10:00 news starts. The game is scheduled to end at 9:30, so we have to produce a 30-minute show. But because the games have been so close, the final 5 minutes have been taking about 20-25 minutes to play. That means our shows get cut way down. On Tuesday, we only had time to show the highlights of the game, and we didn't make it through all of those before we had to step aside for the news. That part is hard, but watching the games and then reliving it while showing the highlights has been fun.

We have at least 2 more games, maybe 3. Let's hope the trend continues and they're all close games.
